Rhema Marvanne a little Gospel Singer. This 7 year old girl inspires me. why? because she is BRAVE. Her mom died when she was only five and sings with her heart and spirit. She has an amazing voice. Maybe God gave her that voice for a purpose. Rhema sings to glorify God and I think this is her calling and ministry.

Our current house were about to demolish at the end of this year because the owner will use it for commercial purposes. We stayed there for about 19 years, sad but the memories of our house will stay. =(

So much for that we are moving to our new house. We are reconstructing the old house of my Lola (aunt of my father). The house is small unlike with our current house. But to this new home, we will make it beautiful and we will make it memorable.

Jeff and I are talking about our day at work. When he suddenly got my hands on my lap and ask about my fingers. He asked me why I put a ring on my index finger, so I answered him because that's my friendship ring. Then he asked me why I didn't put a ring on my ring finger? Again I answered because I don't have an engagement ring or a wedding ring. I was so shocked when he slips the silver ring with a diamond on the top of it. Wala akong nasabi kundi para san to? and he answered back, bakit, ayaw mo? Will you marry me?

Hindi ako nakasagot agad. But he said, I will wait for your answer. Hindi pa naman ngayon kasi alam ko, marami pa tayong dapat i.settle.

I was planning what to cook for my boyfriend for our anniversary.

I was browsing some magazines but some foods do have many procedures and ingredients and I'm in a tight budget.

I was thinking of baking sweet but not in an expensive baking so I decided to bake a Leche Flan which is also his favorite.

Yesterday, I made a trial on my Leche Flan.

Here's how:
INGREDIENTS:

12 egg yolks

1 can condensed milk (390g)

1 can evaporated milk (390g)

2 cups fine white sugar

1-2 tablespoon vanilla

UTENSILS:

Llanera, Strainer, Steamer

HOW TO MAKE THE CARAMELIZED SYRUP:

In a stainless steel pan, dissolve 3/4 cups of sugar, add 1/4 cup water over medium heat, do not stir, just swirl the pan gently, caramelize in low heat if you don't want it burnt. Pale brown means sweeter and too dark means bitter. When you have achieved the desired color, pour the syrup in the llanera and make sure to coat all the parts of the pan.

HOW TO MAKE THE CUSTARD:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the egg yolk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar and vanilla. Mix thoroughly but gently to prevent bubbles from forming. Remove any solids by using a strainer.

2. Pour the mixture in the llanera and cover it with an aluminum foil, so that the moisture from the steam won't come in the pan as it will become watery.

3. Steam Cook for 40-45 minutes, or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

4. Remove the llanera and let it cool at room temperature. Then refrigerate for several hours before serving.

5. To unmold the leche flan- run a sharp knife around the edge and carefully invert it unto a platter or serving dish, let the caramelized sugar flow over the leche flan.

Another secret ingredient is add LOVE on what you are baking.

Pure LOVE is a sacrifice. It is setting aside our self for someone we are entrusting our future with. Love makes a person to learn how to TRUST, and SACRIFICE. A person can set aside his/her desires, wants, fears and needs for that special person.

Why is it that others pretend to be the people that they are NOT?

PRETENSIONS. What's behind this word that most people do. 

I knew someone who's always pretending like she's rich but actually and the TRUTH is, she's NOT! She always showed us that she is a SOCIALITE but she act no one. 

I hate it when this girl pretend. I'm not looking down on people but people like her deserves it! Why pretend?

First. Why telling others that you are not eating in carenderia located on streets but you are! What's the point of telling it? To show that you are not one of us who are poor? Or just to be accepted by people you're working around?

Second, why hide the truth that you are eating street foods? There's nothing wrong with it? It's just that your way is too BOASTFUL than those I've known who are really born with a silver spoon in their mouth. And I just hate the fact that you say this whenever we are in group discussion with our rich bosses. Just saying, "Ay! Hindi ako kumakain sa ganyan guys!" WTF!

Oh come on! You're not even THAT rich to begin with and you were NOT rich when you are small because it's pretty obvious that you weren't brought up in that environment. As far as I knew you grew up in the FARM.
Maybe you just got your rich. I just despise the way you ACT and how you boast about what you have. 

I think many people like her want to be perceived one way or another for numerous reasons and one is INSECURITY. Denying the fact that she can't afford the SOCIALITE LIVING and shame for being POOR. 

Why not show your TRUE COLORS? Don't be discouraged. Show it all. Go out in a darkness inside you. Set yourself FREE.

I was at the mall yesterday with my office-mate. We were in the cellphone store. I'm not really a cellphone addict but this phone really caught my attention. It's not blackberry but it looks like because of its qwerty keyboard. It's the NOKIA C3 phone. It has an entry level phone that is primarily intended as a messaging and social networking handset. It runs the s40 mobile operating system and features a customizable home screen where you can display Facebook and Twitter feeds, and manage your email, calendar, instant messaging, and music utilizing dedicated widgets. The Nokia C3 has a QWERTY keyboard just like the Nokia E72 and E63.  It can connect to the Internet via 2G or WiFi and can access Ovi services and store where users can download and install additional apps. The phone has 55 MB internal memory but you can load it up with up to 8 GB of storage via external memory. 

This phone cost around Php 7,000.00 here in the Philippines.

Heartbreak is not always as loud as a bomb exploding, sometimes it can be as quiet as a feather falling and the most painful is no one really hears it except the one who faces it.

Yes! Love really hurts; sometimes it can make a person HAPPY, SAD, and even CRAZY.

I, myself, had been in this situation. For those girls (and even boys) who are BROKEN HEARTED, don’t worry guys and gals, being broken does not mean it’s the end of your WORLD.

They said that when a DOOR CLOSES, the WINDOW OPENS. Look around. There is always a new one if the other leaves.  Maybe your TRUE LOVE is looking you for you to. Take note that being a heartbroken is just a trial to make you strong enough to FACE LIFE ahead of you.

Why cry over spilled milk, when you can have one again?

What I mean is when someone leaves you don’t be sad (as if you’re not gonna love anymore because you really love that person and you thought that you’ll gonna end up each other together).

As I was saying, TRUE LOVE can wait. GOD prepared something special for each of us. GOD will either give what we ask or something better for what we are asking.

Why is it that there are people who are stupid, hypocrite and worst idiots?!

 Lunch time. Our boss called up in the office to have lunch with our new French investor in one Chinese Restaurant here in our Place.

Our boss told me to order lunch because they already have their orders when we arrived at the place. My two other office-mates, who are the Marketing Officers (Lumen and Gracia) of the company, sat in front of my boss and the French investor.

My other office-mate, who is our purchaser (Cora), sat besides the wife of the investor, and me don't have any choice, sat beside the French investor. 

The two marketers ordered already.

My boss told me to order."Jerih, nakapagorder na kau?"

I replied,"di pa sir."

"So order na kayo.", sabi niya.

The waitress came over to have our order taken.

Tinanong ko ang kasama kong purchaser kung ano nag order niya. Sabi niya ako ang bahala. Dahil alam kong hindi siya masyadong kumakainng mga Chinese foods, nagorder ako ng Crispy Fried Chicken at Beef in Terriyaki Sauce at two plain rice for both of us.

Orders are served already at ang inorder namin ay inilagay sa harap namin ni Cora.

Nabigla ako ng kinuha ni Lumen ang inorder namin na Crispy Fried Chicken. Akala ko kukuha lang siya dahil hindi pa kumukuha si Cora. Mayamaya, kinuha niya rin ang natirang ulam sa harap namin...so nothing left in our table. 

Cora looked at me sabay bulong, "I don't like the beef."

"Gusto mo ng chicken? ", I asked her and she nodded.

So I told Lumen. "Nang, pakiabot ng chicken." Nabigla ako nang kumuha siya ng tinidor and kumuha ng maliit na part ng manok saka binigay kay Cora without thinking na may tao sa pagitan nilang dalawa and worst is yong asawa pa ng investor namin na kumakain that moment! Napa OMG ako sa sarili ko. Where are her manners? To think back, kami ang nag-order noon! Dapat nasa harap namin yon at hindi sa harap nila dahil may kanya kanyang orders kami. Naawa ako kay Cora dahil hindi siya nakakain mabuti.

Kung iisipin pinagorder kami ng boss namin para sa lunch namin. Tama ba naman na kunin niya lahat ng ulam namin? Eto pa ha, humirit pa, nag-order ulit ng isang pagkain yong asawa ng investor aand put it again in our table. Second time around kinuha niya ulit ang pagkain.

So, what else can you say to this manners? Is it appropriate to her profession? Marketing Officer pa naman. 

If your a Marketing Officer you should know how to deal with people right? In this scene, we were the one deal with the Marketing Officer. OMG!
